Welcome to Summer Collegiate Baseball

The Morgan County Wranglers, based in Ft. Morgan, Colorado, are a summer collegiate wood-bat team that operates in the same way as a professional minor league baseball team.

The Wranglers provide exciting, inexpensive family entertainment at Eddie Underwood Field each summer as part of the Nebraska and Colorado-based Front Range League.

Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s just about baseball. You can take advantage of fabulous theme nights, great between innings on-field contests and music that will want to make you get up and dance. Grilled hot dogs and ice-cold soda are just the start of the list of great food and beverages available. There’s no better entertainment in Morgan County, all at the lowest price you can imagine. IT'S A PARTY and it starts June 1 at Eddie Underwood Field!

Nice day for two of our Coalinga College (CA) Falcons on Thursday. SP Jaydian Chavira went 6.2 innings with one ER and 3Ks. RP Emiliano Murrillo finished the game with 2.1 IP, no ER and 2 Ks. Got some talent coming to Morgan County this summer!

Standing 6'3” and 200 lbs, Chavira brings a strong right‑handed presence to the Wranglers’ roster. The Madera, California native joins us from Coalinga College (CA), where he’s continued to develop as a competitive junior arm with size and poise.

Welcome to Morgan County, Coach Chase Taylor!

Coach Taylor joins the Wranglers as our pitching coach, bringing a deep West Coast baseball background and experience competing in leagues across California, Oregon, Washington, and Canada. With more than 100 collegiate innings under his belt and time spent learning from former big‑league pitching coaches, he adds real depth and insight to our staff.

Currently finishing his playing career at Union Commonwealth University, Taylor brings energy, knowledge, and a strong feel for the summer ball circuit — all of which will be huge assets in our inaugural season.
